Tracy E. Kelley named Chief Executive Officer of Sion Power Corporation

Tracy E. Kelley, formerly Chief Technical Officer of Sion Power Corporation, Tucson, AZ, was named Chief Executive Officer of the corporation at a recent meeting of the Board of Directors in New York.

Privately held Sion Power Corporation is the global leader in the development of a new generation of high-energy, rechargeable Licerion® batteries for UAV, military, portable power, and electric-vehicle markets. Licerion is Sion Power’s trademark for its brands of lithium metal-based batteries.

Kelley replaces Dennis R. Mangino, PhD, who had served as CEO since 2006. Mangino will continue in a Senior Advisory role and remain on the Board.
