Using lithium in its metal form allows you to store more energy per unit of mass and per unit of volume than any other lithium-based chemistry available today — delivering energy density exceeding 500 Wh/kg, more than 50% beyond the best lithium-ion cells on the market, including those with advanced silicon anode enhancements.
