Building the US Battery Supply Chain: Time to Deliver

The Inflation Reduction Act spurred more than $100 billion of announced investments to scale the US domestic battery supply chain, with positive knock-on effects in Canada and Mexico. Though construction is reaching completion on many projects, many gigafactories have been delayed amid slowing EV market expectations. The potential pullback on EV tax credits could challenge the market further. The battery market is entering a new phase with new challenges and new opportunities. How much of it is at risk now?
